Addressing Tom Humberstone as one of the most interesting contemporary comic book artists and illustrators seems to be more of an understatement. The above panel demonstrates both the stellar aesthetics and the insightful political engagement characterising his artwork; and he has also contributed to the development of alternative comics in the UK as the editor of the Solipsistic Pop anthologies.
