Sorry, but no, you can't, you have to do the work first, this is actually what I've always been told, I must first do my homework, and only then I will be free to play.
It is of course doubtfull if I ever complied... : P
But I'll tell you what, why don't we bring in a bit of post-structuralism and deconstruct this binary once and for all. Why should we be discursively constituted as subjects obliged to work, as opposed to gaze at the sky?
Alternatively we could form the Stargazers Liberation Front, if you prefer something in the marxist vein.
Either way, a gaze at the sky may actually help one get through the day - works for me at least
